The Position

Position Overview
We are looking for a full-time Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity to grow your technical skills and gain hands-on experience in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design civil works projects, including roadways, water systems, and sewer infrastructure.
• Prepare design briefs, technical reports and other project documentation.
• Assist with contract preparation and construction administration.
• Support project managers and take direction from senior engineers and project leads.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to co-op students.
• Conduct periodic inspections of civil construction sites to ensure projects standards are met.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Recent (or soon to be) graduate eligible for registration with EGBC, or an existing Engineer-in Training registered in British Columbia.
• Clear and confident communicator with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of basic municipal, transportation or land development engineering principles with a commitment to staying current in the field.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Civil 3D etc.)

• Valid BC driver’s license
