The Position
We are seeking two experienced Construction Managers to join our growing team in Victoria and Nanaimo, BC. These positions are ideal for individuals who are passionate about leading and managing diverse projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, building strong relationships with clients and trades, and contributing to the continued growth of our company.

Compensation

Competitive salary range: $90,000 – $120,000 annually, based on experience.

Eligibility for performance-based bonus.

Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and other coverage.

Business mileage between job sites will be reimbursed.
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead and manage construction projects in residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.

Oversee business development efforts, including proposal writing and client relationship management.

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and CCDC contracts.

Lead project teams, coordinating with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Provide ongoing mentorship and support to junior team members.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and best practices to maintain competitiveness.
Requirements & Qualifications
-
Proven experience in construction management with a focus on residential, commercial, industrial, or institutional projects.

Strong knowledge of construction, local & Provincial Building and Step codes, standards, and CCDC contracts.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Proficient in project management software and tools.

Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Established connections with local trades and suppliers.

A valid BC driver’s license in good standing.
